Meet Our Staff

Vicky Trobridge

Vicky was introduced to dance when her daughter began Highland dance at the age of seven and was involved in the dance community for the next eight years. Having sewn for many years the craft became valuable as she made dance outfits and year end costumes. She was involved in the start up of Performing Fabrics as there was no dance store in Nanaimo. She is now the sole owner.

Patrice Macauly

Patrice has three daughters who all danced, and has been involved in the dancing world for 32 years. She has been active as a costume Mom, class Mom and backstage helper at Festivals, Galas, Productions and Year End Shows. While her youngest daughter was ending her dancing years Patrice began working at Performing Fabrics & Dancewear and gets to continue her connection with her love of dance.

Dana Tang

Dana has been working at Performing Fabrics since 2016. She first became a part of the dance community when her son and daughter began their training. As they've grown up, Dana has continued her connection with the dance community by helping dancers find everything they need for their classes and performances. She loves working with Vicky and her fun co-workers.

Kira Brown

Kira began dancing when she was 3 years old. She practiced ballet, tap, jazz, and musical theatre during her 11 years of dance. Kira is currently studying to become a school teacher at Vancouver Island University. Kira has been working at Performing Fabrics since 2014, and enjoys contributing to the local dance community by helping dancers at the store. She loves working with the wonderful staff and clients of Performing Fabrics.

Demitria Rounis

Demitria started dance at the age of 5. Over the next 13 years, she trained in many different styles including ballet, tap, musical theatre, contemporary, and many more. Since graduating, Demitria has gone from being a dance student, to a dance teacher. She has been working at Performing Fabrics since 2016, and loves helping local dancers find everything they need alongside her amazing co-workers.

Clara Keefer
